About the event
Friday Collage Lab — your creative reset
(in English & Russian, 10+)
At these collage sessions, you won’t just make a beautiful piece of decor for yourself or as a gift — you’ll create a personal story from magazine cutouts, book illustrations, and your own associations.
Sometimes small scraps of paper come together in unexpected ways, revealing things we don’t usually notice or put into words — that’s the quiet magic of collage.
Each session brings a new theme, a new mood, and a new side of yourself to discover.
The process is independent, but you’re not alone:
collage artist Katrin Anikina will be there to guide you gently, offer ideas, and help you find your creative rhythm. All materials are provided,
but you are welcome to bring your own images or family/friend photos if you want to include something personal in your collage.
Just come in, relax, and build something new and surprising — from paper, feeling, and a bit of you.
Price: 10€
Included: cozy atmosphere, tea, coffee, and sweet treats. Collage Lab runs from 14:00 to 17:00. You’re welcome to join at any time during these hours.
For a relaxed creative experience, we recommend arriving no later than 15:00, so you have enough time to create. Nearest themes:
March 27 — Happy Easter Postcards & Decor
Make handmade Easter postcards and small festive decorations.
A light and playful session with bright colors and spring mood.
April 3 — Restrictions
A collage session about freedom within limits.
Using simple rules, we’ll explore how creativity grows inside boundaries — and how limitations can open new ideas and unexpected results.
We’ll create small collage postcards for an international exhibition in Belgium, dedicated to World Collage Day (May 9).
If you like, we can send your collage to the exhibition at Stedelijke Academie Waregem.
April 10 — My Space
Inspired by Yuri’s Night / International Day of Human Space Flight (April 12).
A collage about space — outside and inside.
Planets, stars, dreams, and your own inner universe.
April 17 — Small but Mighty
A collage session inspired by Earth Day (April 22).
Create a collage inspired by small details that make our planet special — moss, leaves, insects, shells, textures, or water.
We’ll focus on the beauty and power of tiny things that are often overlooked.
You can also join an online collage challenge by The International Collage Guild with your work.
April 24 — Crazy Crown
Inspired by King’s Day in the Netherlands.
Create a royal collage or your own collage crown.
Bold, funny, and a little bit crazy — just like a real celebration.
