Het Vlindereffect: Experimenteren met aquarel

Butterflies are fascinating creatures and the perfect subject for

exploring the expressive possibilities of watercolor. Their vibrant

wings, intricate patterns, and rich variety of colors offer endless

inspiration for creative experimentation.

In this workshop, you will discover the unique qualities of

watercolor and learn how to use the characteristics of different

pigments to create luminous and expressive paintings.

What you'll do:

• A short presentation on watercolor materials and techniques

• Create a large-scale butterfly painting (A4 format)

• Experiment with different types of watercolor paper

• Explore the properties of watercolor pigments, including

transparency, opacity, and granulation

• Create a vibrant artwork using a variety of watercolor

techniques

This workshop is ideal for anyone who wants to experiment

with new materials, gain a deeper understanding of watercolor,

and expand their artistic toolkit.
