Het Vlindereffect: Experimenteren met aquarel

Do you already have some experience with watercolor and want to explore new possibilities? In

The Butterfly Effect, we will experiment with different papers, pigments, and watercolor techniques.

Butterflies are the perfect subject for this creative exploration. Their vibrant colors and intricate

patterns offer endless possibilities for experimenting with watercolor.

You will learn about different types of watercolor paper and pigments, try wet-on-wet and wet-on-

dry techniques, and discover how paper, water, pigments, and techniques influence the final result.

During the workshop, you will create several butterfly paintings, using the techniques and

materials explored during the session.

The workshop is suitable for those who already have some watercolor experience and would like to deepen their understanding of the medium and expand their artistic toolkit.

Instructor:

Anna Ponomareva — artist, passionate about botanical watercolor, and teacher with 10 years of
