Wire Decor — Nature & Little Things

Collage artist Katrin Anikina invites you to explore the art of creating decorative objects with wire.

In this workshop, we’ll “draw” three-dimensional forms with wire, turning simple lines into light, delicate objects inspired by nature and the little things that surround us.

We’ll explore the graphic beauty of natural forms and learn how to transform simple wire into flowers, leaves, branches and more. You can also add simple lettering or your own imaginative ideas — and see where the wire takes you (and where it gets you tangled!).

Beads, garlands and other little details will add colour, texture and character to your creation.

This is a calm and inspiring creative process where simple materials slowly transform into a unique handmade piece.

No previous experience is needed — just curiosity, imagination and the joy of creating something with your own hands.

October 10 — Autumn Nature

Create a delicate autumn composition inspired by seasonal flowers, grasses, leaves and other natural forms. Add your own imaginative elements to make the composition truly yours.

November 11 & December 12 — Winter & Christmas

Create a winter/Christmas wreath inspired by natural winter elements. Decorate it with beads, garlands and other little details. Your wreath can be used as a festive decoration or turned into a beautiful candle holder.
